Tony Hawk who was in Brighton for his sell out skateboarding tour, but a day earlier he rocked up with vert skating specialist Kevin Staab and DJ Jesse Fritsch at the Shoreham Bowl Skate Park .The skating legend, who has reportedly made £50 million through his video games and merchandise, arrived at the park opposite the Civic Centre, in Ham Road, Shoreham, to the amazement of the local skaters.He spent an hour skating at the revamped bowl and signed autographs to the delight of about 100 fans. Tony came over and congratulated local riders on the bowl. He told them he found it buttery smooth! Jesse and Kevin also commented that the coping was just perfect.Tony and Jesse were totally focused on riding the bowl, working out lines and hitting the deep with Indy airs, F/s blunts, smiths, Lien to tails. Tony even tried to jump the fence from out of the 8.5ft end!
